I recommend Presto. It boats an incredible ~15sec boottime (literally from pressing the power button to getting online). Unfortunately it's in beta and will eventually not be free anymore once April or something rolls around. Anyone know of any other super quick free OS that boots up this quick?

I forgot to mention that you don't have to manually partition your harddrive or anything nasty like that. Presto installs like a program (exactly like Wubi Ubuntu), so it's easy to uninstall it if you don't like it.
