I used to have it. but its' not really helpful. It's better I buy the duster and use it into the fan of the laptop. Now my laptop never hot anymore.
Your laptop got hot because a lot of dust on the fan. Try it and it will work.

I have this, so does my son, and love it! I put it on a large thin hardcover book...it doesn't slip, so I can prop it up on my knees while reclining;) I had a more expensive one, but the laptop kept slipping and yanking the cable.
