Corsair Gaming Audio Series HS1 USB Gaming Headset (Model#: CA-HS1NA)

I own one of these (and paid the full price when they first came out $100) and the Bass is NOT weak. The issue is that these are USB based, so if you want more bass you have to use an equalizer to boost it - there is plenty of power for it. Overall the response is designed to be flat which makes them terrific monitors. They come with software that allows you to use virtual Dolby Surround, which I must say works very well, but the software interface leaves something to be desired. Some units do have Mic issues, but they have been replacing those (seems to be a manufacturing defect that affects some of them).

At this price they are an incredible bargain, and I recommend them.
