Dyson DC33 Multi Floor Vacuum (refurbished)

After purchase follow-up:

My vacuum arrived with a broken hinge for the plastic piece that sits under the canister. Woot emailed me a prepaid mailing label and sent a replacement vacuum. +1 for Woot customer service.

The replacement vacuum works great, it's not too loud, and it looks like it will be easy to clean (with several parts that can be disconnected and rinsed off with water). I'm allergic to dust mites, so every little bit helps.

just waiting for my little vacuum to die before i consider buying one of these things! they seem to make customers very happy!

The 6 month warranty made me decide against. I'd rather have the peace of mind of a 5 year warranty, especially since it's a refurb

why are there so many refurbished Dyson products? Makes me wonder

Next time I need a new vacuum I am going to have to seriously consider a Dyson. In the short term the cheaper models are fine, but I have been through several (cheaper) vacuums over the past 10 years, where a Dyson owner has their vacuum forever!
