Woah.. had no idea they made dehumidifiers that huge! Does it also help to cool a room?

The dehumidifier just removes the moisture from the air lowering the humidity in the house. The air conditioner does the same plus it blows cool air, so the air conditioner will cool much better than a dehumidifier by itself.

We have one even larger than that (have to in the HUMID South) and we HAVE found that it does indeed keep things cooler and the A/C runs less... worth it's weight in gold to us! :)
