Priced right, we had this solar sign but it stopped working after one summer, not sure why and honestly did not investigate the problem. I will look at it in the Spring.

The whole solar powered deal seems kinda silly here. It's not as if your house number ever changes so why would you need a sign that's digital. Same purpose can be served with a chunk of cardboard and a marker really (yes it wouldn't look as nice but you also don't have to worry about it breaking).

I think the purpose of the light is so it could be seen at night. More helpful for emergency vehicles & invited guests, trying to find you in the dark.
