I saw a lady in a local show that glues the saucers to the cups and fills the cups with candle wax and a wick - and calls them "Friendship Candles" - she writes a cute little handwritten poem about "Having a cup of tea with a friend far away - and whenever they light the candle to know that their friend is with them sipping the tea and sharing a special moment..." They are SO COOL! Am thinking of getting this set and doing the same thing - will get 6 very unique gifts out of it! :)

Be careful though! This is an Espresso Set not a regular sized coffee/tea cup. I had purchased it once and returned it cause it was way too tiny. Its beautiful though.
