No, these were NEVER $200. I purchases 2 years ago for around $22 or so. They are made of plastic. Be sure to anchor it to the wall and use an appropriate screw for security. Yes, they look great, but they are a pain in the butt to clean!!

Neat idea, I would just worry that it is rounded--I read somewhere that the domed fish bowls don't allow enough oxygen to circulate in.
