but why does it need batteries? anyone tried this?

@dddsss It might need the batteries for the illuminated headlights. I haven't tried this one, but I did by a wireless one from them a couple of years ago and it is still going strong even though it didn't seem to be the sturdiest item.

yeah, but less wires around the PC. with wireless stuff, it's easier to have a cleaner desk :D can make room for other stuff.
