Received mine today.Just a cheap spring type scale.At around 1# it's seems to be within two ounce tolerance. Might be able to get it within half that after playing with it. We cut up meat into 1 to 2# lots for stir frying and fajitas so this should work ok - it's close enough and better than eyeballing it. Shouldn't have to worry about it breaking down like the cheap digital ones either,well recommend for this low price.
