If i put a big onion or a potato, does it really chop within a second? I dont know, but tried in past it does for small item or cut item only. If anyone has experience than let me know.

Yes this does a great job of chopping everything up. We usually use it to chop up vegetables to use in sauce or as a dip. Also nice to use for creating a vegetable topping to put on tacos. Very useful and easy to use and even clean.
