The reviews are mostly related to the lack of a VGA/DVI/HDMI output. This monitor only has a single Displayport connection. For people with contemporary heavy duty video cards, this shouldn't be a problem. Most recent cards have a Displayport connection built into the video card. But people with older computers or budget systems might only have the traditional VGA/DVI connections. Unfortunately, to fix this problem, you need to buy an active Displayport adapter, which can actually be quite pricey; if you don't have a Displayport connection, I'd say you need to add at least $20-30 to the price of the monitor in order to get it functioning on your system.
For my purposes, this monitor is an intriguing option, mainly because I'm looking for a cheap Eyefinity setup, which requires at least one monitor with a Displayport connection.
