Roku 2 XD 1080p HD Streaming Video Player w/ Wi-Fi [refurbished]

You can get youtube but you have to use the back door (another ap). I took the plung and subscribed to PLAYON.TV. Got a life time membership and a free roku (basic model) for 69.00 during xmas. There are otherways but I liked all the channels on playon/playlater had to offer in one place.

I have 3. Even at the 80-100.00 you pay for the top end model, you won't be sorry. You can plug a USB drive or external hard drive to the XS version and watch movies you've converted. I currently pay for both hulu+, Netflix and have a subscription to amazon prime (which gives me movies/video also). I run plex on an extra PC I had and have over 300gb of dvd's I converted to .avi's which allows me to watch my dvd collection anywhere I have a roku plugged in. So, I have my own media server (I can listen to my music or view pictures). I've dropped all my pay channels from Dish and next month when my contract runs out, will be dropping my top 250 services to 120 channels. Letting roku take over. I may be dropping dish all together. This along with basic service will all but pay for itself. Too bad blockbuster or redbox doesn't have a app for this yet.
