The wife has been hinting around about getting a tablet, just to read books.

This looks like a great value for a huge page turner who is ready to dip her toe into the e-book craze.

P.S. Wal-Mart's "2-year Drop, Spill, and Cracked Screen Replacement Plan" for just $6.50 seems like a no-brainer. After all, if it is truly a "Replacement" plan, there won't be anything more basic to 'replace' this with in 2 years.

This is a really awesome device imo. I bought it back close to when it came out for more than $100 refurbed, and I thought that was a reasonable price.

If you're adventurous, you can root the android version on it and install the kindle app, which is nice.
