Amcor A3900 GPS System

im thinking about buying this for my mom for mothers day. does anyone have any more info about this item? does it come with any type of a mounting unit?

Just bought one! It seems it's a good price. It has the same options that a Garmin has- Mp3, pictures, battery backup. not sure about who makes this but for 80.00 I am willing to try. Free shipping or in-store pickup.

Yes it comes with various mounting optios. I love mine. But be careful of the window mounting bracket, the suction cup has a spring loaded base and it DOES break, and of course Amcor does not have any in stock, so you have a back order on it. But it is a really great navigation system. Many options and as good as any I have tried or heard of and for the money you CAN'T beat it!!!!!!!!!!

It is a fairly good GPS unit for those who are new to this. It is also a very good price. I had mine for about a year and the draw back was that the maps are not upgradeable which is essential for longevity. Without being able to update the maps this GPS becomes an expensive paper weight. Also if you search around you can find some very reasonable GPS units for a bit more.

Bought one on Sunday - what a useless piece of junk! I put my home address in two miles from my home and I follwed its direction and it sent me completely away from my destination. I have sent emails to Amcor and phoned and have not had feed-back. If you want to buy a GPS go to Garmin website - better prices and a system that works. I will be taking my Amcor back for credit.

the unit is nice the down fall is that you cant update the map what the hell amcor sells you something you cant update thats some bull shit thanks a lot for nothing.
