Q: 12 days of Christmas or 8 days of Hanukkah!!! :)

Tonight is the 5th night of Hanukkah!
Customs are to have parties, light the candelabra for all of the 8 nights.
Fry some "latkes" - potato pancakes, and enjoy some "sufgoniot" - jelly donuts.

HAPPY HANUKKAH EVERYONE!

Oh, and don't forget to spin the "driedel"  top.

As a professional potato cake chef I have to say I definately prefer bleenies over latkes. (technically the same thing but latkes have a more coarse shread compared to almost a puree for bleenies, and bleenies have more onion which is the important part for me. :) But my area is mostly those of European decent so thats what I am used to.

HAPPY HANUKKAH, MdavidK30! :) It is interesting to learn about traditions that others observe. Hope you have a great one! :)

And there must be someone who doesn't, because my Hanukkah post got another thumbs down.
Sad.

Since you asked, 12 days sounds better than 8 but not sure of the exact details of those 12.
