Q: All the people that bought so many HP Touchpads what price are you willing to sell at?

I am an individual and was trying to get Christmas presents for my family. Not to resell etc...I ordered from 2 places so far and got emails today that there was a problem with the order and it would not be fulfilled. I had other sites with timeout issues and error messages when ordering. I was looking into 3-4 or the 16gb and 2-3 of the 32 gb, but that is just for everyone to have one. Grandparents, parents, son, etc...and it can go down from there. what price would you consider selling at that is not too outrageous from the sale price. Please let me know at carpince@yahoo.com

There are still alot of stocks that still have them in stock, that haven't reduced their prices yet. Just be patient.

Why would you want to give one of these as a gift? The HP touchpad is essentially worthless now. That was the whole point of the fire sale, nobody who bought one got a good deal because right now it is obsolete. The only chance of support or upgrades to webOS rely on another company licensing the OS. HP will not support the pads, and HP is essentially getting out of the entire home user PC market and focusing on corporate technology. So hopefully if everything works out well your best option is someone licenses webOS and continues it, or someone hacks it to enable installation of linux or android which on tablets both are about as useful as a solar powered flashlight.

Buy for $100 sell on ebay for $200, if I had one, that's what I would do.

HP will license it out to a third party company and someone will be definitely bite, everyone will be having WebOS tablet now and there's money to be made. the hacking scene is probably already on it.

ALL and all its still only $99! compare to the low quality tablets you get for around same price.

@Acidbaby I have other electronic devices that are out of date and they do not warranty them etc...but it would be awesome to have a tablet for my grandparents and pareents to use. They don't move around aa lot and with their limitations it is small enough and lite weight they can still enjoy playing games, internet, pictures. It was a good price and I just hope to get them one each. nothing big and I know people bought them to make money and I may have done so too but I just thought of the possibilities for my family. Sorry that you think it is not a good deal but I am on a limited budget otherwise maybe i could have bought 20 like some but I just wanted something that was in my price range and could help out my family.
