Not much reason for me to run out and buy one, guess I will keep my samsung galaxy s3 for a while longer.

@rd995, Galaxy note 2 looks pretty sick. A little big though. I'd say it depends on what kinda stuff you usually use your phone for. Games = iPhone Galaxy Note 2 = web surfing + videos.

I wrote a blog post over at my website about some of things I think apple dropped the ball on.

I didn't really see/hear anything to make me upgrade and give up my current contract :(

The iOS6 will turn the iPhone 4S basically into the new iPhone. Minus a few physical features.

I got a Galaxy Nexus 4G from Sprint about a month ago and I am loving it. I got the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update yesterday and the Google rival for Siri is fantastic. There are so many choices in the smartphone world.

Nope! I couldn't care less about all the hype from the new phones! Didn't they just come out with one last year??

Nothing blows me away to go out and get a new one yet. I personally like the galaxy s3 more.

I am super disappointed, well we knew what was coming, was just hoping for something better during the official release. skipped on the 4S for the 5 and waited a year. now i'm going to get a S3, bigger screen, better specs, and $100 cheaper=)

i wasn't disappointed, but i guess i was hoping for a bit more. in the end, though..still a great phone. i like the fact that they didn't make the width bigger..they're right..you want the phone to be comfy in the hand. i've held other phones..androids, samsung, etc..and man..it's just too big for my taste..it doesn't feel smooth in my pocket. pros and cons to all phones..i still think it's a good new phone to enter the market.

@nimrodboy, I always thought the same too; that 4.5"+ screen are just way to big for a phone. But then I got one, and I have to say it grows on you really fast. I also have larger hands, but it really wasn't hard to get used to. The bigger screen makes email and web much more usable imo.

It is seriously impressive to me just how far behind Apple seems to be in the phone races. Most all of the "new" features of the iPhone 5 were in the Galaxy S1 (4G, 4" screen, weight/size).

Just a note regarding the screen size of the iPhone 5:

I think it's not only to maintain the ease of use with one hand, but to also account for a perfect 1080 resolution (for shooting and playing back videos). Anymore or any less would probably give it some letter boxing.
