According to rumors on the web, Apple will be holding a media event on September 12th to introduce the New iPhone. It was previously rumored that this event would include details about the iPad Mini, iOS 6, and New Generation of iPod's; however it makes sense that the iPhone 5 is just too popular to have to share that spotlight. Apple has decided to tighten up the schedule with pre-orders beginning on the same day.

The release date of the iPhone 5 is set to release on September, 21st. There is a second shipment for regular orders set for October 5th. So if you're one of the people who wants first hands on the device, mark your calendars for the pre-order date of September 12th.

The prices for the iPhone 5 are predicted to be identical to those of the iPhone 4s last year: $199, $299 and $399 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models, respectively. You might want to start saving up your lunch money now if you're planning on getting your hands on the newest apple gadgets. If you already have an older iPhone model, look into some money saving tips by taking advantage of Apple’s Reuse & Recycling Program. However you decide to do it, make sure that you avoid scams by pre-ordering from reputable merchants such as Amazon, Best Buy, Fry’s, Apple Store, or directly from your cell phone company. I had gotten an samsung google nexus earlier this year and loved how it looked and functioned...that is until i dropped it the 2 nd day of owning it and the screen is completely cracked now. My husband who owns a iphone for years now showed me how many times he has dropped his phone without any major damage. I am so looking forward to this iphone 5 now.

Do yourself a favor. Sell your iphone and get the galaxy. I dont know what else to say. I wasnt too thrilled with playing around with the S3 the bit i did but now having one in my hand. The complete control I have over the entire device, and just the amazing features ICS has and the integration with everything, I wish I would have dumped my iphone sooner. There is just so many things that this phone can do that an iphone cant without jailbreaking.
