Q: Best Deal on PC?
|
I need to look into purchasing a device where I can start writing without going to the library all the time. I have stories to finish and content writing to do, and it's not always easy with an hour or so a day as my time frame.
PC vs. Tablet - can I write well on a tablet, is that something more suited to a laptop? I don't have much experience with a tablet except using one program on an iPad for a job I used to have. I need to keep it cost-effective, too. Any suggestions? |

If your budget is really tight, I suggest buying a used older model IBM Thinkpad. The keyboards are best in class for laptops, and it should hold up like a tank. I use thinkpads and have gotten most of my immediate/extended family hooked on them. It should be pretty easy to find an older model for $100-200 dollars that will be far more powerful than any tablet currently available. |

| I think for writing purposes laptop is the best option. But if you are a busy business person, you can choose a tablet. But you asked for a cost-effective option, so I think laptop is best suited for you. You can just get a great laptop like Apple within $300-$350. |
