Q: Biggest Forecaster's Mistake yet. LOL (In FL)

Friday, the media had everyone so worked up about the storm that many schools, both public and private had closed down for the day. Kids got off of school, in anticipation for more of HURRICANE SANDY to come through FL.

Well, friday came and went, and it was a clear, a bit windy- yes, but no stormy weather at all!!!!!
And the best part of it all, the kids got their day off of school and actually got to enjoy a beautiful day outside!

Well, thats the media for you- overrating everything once again... but this time, the joke was on them!

Those Weather Channel or Forecast are just to warn us and to say Be careful, it is not 100% what they forecast.

So, I pay attention to them but not necessarily 100%

Cause, sometimes when they predict 10% rain it rains, sometimes 65% chances, there is sun hugh up in the sky.

yes, better safe than sorry. when kids are involved, i would always choose them over an "ify" weather report. ;)

I'd rather that they they over react to it and have people be prepared and be wrong than have them under react to the situation, have no one prepare and then have major losses.

It's FL. A little wind isn't going to hurt anyone. Besides, the point was that the forecasters were wrong. We were supposed to get hit hard, and it totally veered away from FL.
