Q: Can/Should you wear Holliser if your in your 30's?

I really don't think so. I am a college professor and you can really get a feel for what is meant just for young people and what can reasonably be worn by someone who is well into adulthood. I would feel foolish wearing Hollister. Which is a shame as they make some hoodies that look comfortable and really well made.

You should be able to wear whatever you feel like. Most retailers make clothes for different occasions and purposes. For instance, I'm sure anyone can wear sweatpants or hoodies made by Hollister at honme...

Not going to lie, when I see those kind of kid brands on adults, i think of the person as trashy. If it looks adult like its fine, but if it says hollister all over it, NO!

i think age is just a number and you should wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Hollister makes really good sweat pants with great material. don't pass it up due to your age! i think i will forever be wearing abercrombie till i am a 100 (that's if i'm still alive) ;) good luck. |

You should wear whatever you feel good in but you may get some weird looks or if you have kids they might give you a hard time. Or maybe you get lucky and get nominated to be What not to wear and get a whole new wardrobe. Also I really hate logos or silly sayings all over clothing. I feel like Im advertising for the company.

I think the people who wore Hollister, A&F, etc in their teens and pre-teens are probably now around 30. If they prefer to wear some of their clothes, I don't have a problem with it. I'm in my mid 20s and I don't think I'll be willing to give up my Hollister sweatpants in 5 or 6 years although I've already given up on most of their shorts. I've always steered clear of the shirts with words or logos though because I don't like paying a company to advertise their brand. They should pay me to wear their logo, right?! ;)

I'm 40, and I still wear clothing from those stores. The person might be 30 and shop in Hollister making themselves dress their age and not younger. I think it depends on HOW u dress yourself and as long as u not trying to look like a teen......i'd say "shop Hollister"!

Life's too short to give a %$ what someone else thinks about your clothes.

I think by the time you're in your 30's, you should spend your money on beautiful, quality clothing, shoes and handbags. The question is not whether you can wear those clothes, it is why on earth would you want to? My opinion, of course. :)

you can wear whatever you want. but personally, I would stick with the Hollister stuff that doesn't have the brand emblazoned all over it. keep it simple and classy. This is the difference between style and fashion.
