A convicted TSA security officer says he was part of a "culture" of indifference that allowed corrupt employees to prey on passengers' luggage and personal belongings with impunity, thanks to lax oversight and tip-offs from TSA colleagues. "It was very commonplace, very," said Pythias Brown, a former TSA officer at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey who admits he stole more than $800,000 worth of items from luggage and security checkpoints over a four-year period. "It was very convenient to steal," he said.

Its that kind of world these days. We have had 2 postal workers in my town charged with theft in the past year. One was just not delivering mostly junk mail but there is one getting charged this week (according to a friend at the postal service) who was stealing peoples checks.

On another note. Why aren't some links (like the one belarus94 posted) showing up as hyperlinks? I've seen this happen a couple times.... Is there something the poster needs to do to get it to show as a clickable link?

@Acidbaby - I had a postal delivery person that I swear was trying to steal my stuff (and probably others). Several times my tracking showed my packages were delivered but they weren't. Only after speaking with the supervisor on multiple occasions, my packages got delivered each time a few days late. I suspect he was putting them on the side to see if anyone called on them and if a certain amount of time passed, he took them. And if someone noticed, they'd "appear"
