Q: Do ladies get their men things for Valentine's Day?

I'm seeing all these Valentine's Day deals on dealspl.us and it's all flowers, jewelry, chocolates, etc... and it's predominantly female-oriented gifts. (I'm also seeing all the hints the ladies of dealspl.us are dropping in the comments section lol)
What do men get? Anything tangible? :x
Do you guys want flowers too?

a kiss lol. I once got a Valentine's gift for a guy I used to date and he was very confused and said it was weird. I have asked other guys about this and most agree. I think it is acceptable in elementary and middle school but you never want to take the risk of topping your guy's gift.

If I do get mine anything it's a card and perhaps a tool or something for the lawn that he wants or needs... but usually it's a special dinner and perhaps one of his favorite desserts.

One year i got my husband a baseball glove, since he never owned one of his own. Also, We just found out i was having a boy, He now can play ball with our son.

i think the idea of gifts on valentines day is ridiculous. i'm not dumb enough not to get my wife something but i never expect anything. its much more romantic to DO something for someone. like a special dinner a massage... or as go with encorez suggestion.

also my wife(then fiance) said she was gonna get me flowers and i went on a rant about how flowers are useless and how almost anything else is better even potatoes, i then got a very nice basket of potatoes on valentines day. my parents though she was crazy.

In my case, the husband loves a good scotch or bourbon, so I take a quick inventory of his "stash" and buy him a bottle of something nice I think he'll enjoy, and I stick a heart-shaped Reese's pb cup in his lunch. ;) Congrats, Kimeeb!

My girlfriend (we are in our early 50s) gives me chocolates as I am a chocoholic. I give her jewelry or something along those lines. I am a bit old fashioned and think that Valentines day is mostly about men giving women gifts :)
