Q: Ebay!

A topic never really brought up here at dealspl.us, and I was wondering if I was the only one who did. Anyone sell on ebay? I have started and its working out great! Even more extra income on top of the MM cash. I have found numerous things from this site ridiculously cheap that I have flipped for a profit on ebay. Anyone else sell on ebay, and what?

ya I sell random stuff like my old iPhones, iPads, drums hardware, and such. Usually something that's at least a couple hundred bucks otherwise I don't want to deal with the hassle.

eBay is alright - fees are pretty high. Look into Amazon too if you want to sell a lot of stuff. I did FBA before and make a few grand selling selling electronics in college and it took me no effort.

I had 3 fraudulent bidders on my iphone I sold on there. Too much hassle for me.

I'm getting a little fed up with Paypal seizing my account for something the other party messed up. It has happened at least 3 times

Any more all you have to do is say you never received the item. Paypal will refund your money and you get to keep the item you stole.

@acidbaby, that's why I always do tracking with signature when I sell the item - did about 70 transactions. No problems at all except this one douche who didn't pay and left me a negative feedback.

Same here though I really dont sell very much on there. I think ive sold 5 items in about 7 years. We have a local for sale group on facebook that has a pretty big following so I sell most i dont need anymore on there.

Who thumbed down Acidbaby ugh? People can still rip you off, all they have to say is the item was not as described or the box was empty. It hasn't happened to me yet but I always keep it in mind.

I sell stuff I get at VS for super cheap with coupons or on Semi-Annual sale (stuff I wouldn't mind keeping if it doesn't sell). I also resell things my husband gets from auctions (he fixes and sells cars).

The ebay fees are really tough to swallow, though. I hate having to mark something up so much to cover the Ebay and PayPal fees. At some point I'm going to use my flexibility blog to sell dance wear and warm up accessories

Ebay fees have gone up since I first sold 10 years ago. You can still make a profit if you can keep shipping costs low. Between Ebay and Paypal they deduct about 20% in fees on average.
