  • Simple screen capture tool, there are plenty of reasons you might want to take a screenshot of your computer screen such as to get an exact picture of the item you are posting etc.
  • Just download the program and install it. When you run ScreenSnag, you'll see several options for capturing screenshots. Underneath the "Input" heading, you can select Window, Area or Full screen
  • Full screen will capture the entire screen. Area allows you to click and drag a box to select exactly what you want to capture. The Window option allows you to click on any window to capture its contents. The program automatically detects the program border
  • Options is where ScreenSnag really shines. Here you can choose to add a border to every screenshot, automatically scale images, add text captions and more. You can even set ScreenSnag to automatically capture a screenshot at different intervals by using the Timer
  • Once everything is set, click the Capture button, and you have your perfect screenshot

Thanks for sharing. Now anyone knows about freeware video capturing software that does not have limitation of recording to 15 min or so? Snagit is good but cost money, Jing is good too but limited to 15 min video recording.

Why not just hit print screen and then paste into Microsoft paint? Seems simple enough.
