Q: Has anyone purchased a travel/vacation deal they found on DEALSPLUS?

I've been noticing a lot of good travel deals lately. I was just wondering if anyone has taken advantage of any they've found here. I'm always wondering if it's cheaper to get the 'deal' or plan things separately with old fashioned bargain hunting. Seems the fees always spike the package price making it not so pretty.

I agree its the airfare that kills the whole deal. There so much fees and taxes, just kills my mood to go anywhere. I hope you find a good one and let us know if you do.

I purchased one a long time ago from here where the coupons were stacking and got a hotel in Disney for $18 a day.

Doh, I reread your question. I thought you were asking if you could trust the deals from here.

I would probably search for flights and hotel deals seperately and price them against the package deals.
There has been some killer round trip deals lately and hotel discounts.

I looked for deals to go to disney and the packages always came to way more than separately. I would highly recommend Tuscana resort in Orlando. I went on cheapoair and it was a little less than $90 a night for a 2 bedroom plus it came with a 3rd bedroom with 2 beds that they call a guest room we didnt even use.You could easily sleep 6. It was built in 2007 and I was blown away when we went there. It was so beautiful with a huge golf course. They could easily get $200 plus a night. Everything was ammaculate..screened in balcony. Most places charge an extra condo fee but they did not. They did put a $300 hold on a cc which I was fine with. I cant wait to go back.
