Q: Have you made the transition?

I was just wondering how many SAHM/SAHD (stay at home mom/dad) we have on the site. I work from home, and have been doing that for almost 2 years now. It allows me to be a full time mom and make money to. I enjoy this site very much and I look forward to meeting you all at some point. :)

Hi Skycarter! Right now I am doing as much as I can from home since my daughter is just 2 years old. I can't afford to just work from home since my husband got injured at work so I am looking for a good job too :)

What kind of work are you looking for? How much time do you have to spare? There are a few companies hiring with full benefits from home or if you just want quick cash there are opportunities for that to.

Hi, Skycarter, nice to meet you! :) I have been a SAHM for the past 13 years, at first it was so I could be at home with my kids, but now all but one is grown and moved out, the other will start college in a year or so, so now I am working from home due to medical reasons. It was great to be able to be home while my son was younger, we even home-schooled for 4 years. Now, it can get a bit lonely, but having great sites like this one help me feel at least a little bit connected with the outside world. :)

I have been a SAHM for 13 years. My daughter is grown, but I still have a tween son at home. I found this site trying to make a few extra bucks and am hoping to contribute some financially to our budget with what I make here. I spend a lot of time earning Amazon cards with Swagbucks, use Upromise for college savings on my purchases, started using IBOTTA to earn a little cash from my purchases, use Savingstar in combination with store loyalty cards to get some more gift cards and coupon a a lot. So glad that this site is different and I can make more than a few dollars a month.

I am a SAHM of 3 for the past 4 years. After learning about my sons heart condition in utero 4 years ago I knew that this would be just the beginning of our hurdles in life. After my sons 2 open heart operation he suffered a stroke. I was by my six month old sons beside night and day. My previous job that I was employed for 10+ years gave me an option to come back to work ASAP or get fired. I was let go that day and never looked back. Once my son got older I realized many daycare centers wouldn't accept my son due to "liability" so made the decision to stay home until he started school which will be this September. How time flies. I only started this site last month so I haven't seen a payment yet, but from the look at everyone's posting I won't be disappointed. Like LindaKNor I also earn Amazon giftcards from Swagbucks and Wikets and that helps during birthdays and Christmas. SkyCarter what companies do you know of?

@FibroMom Nice to meet you as well. You have alot of experience with working from home. I'm sure I could pick up some great tips from you! Do you just participate in sites like this or other things as well? @Linda You also have alot of time in as well. I'm familair with Swagbucks and Upromise but not IBOTTA. I also use savings star, and inbox dollars. @Nellysg You have gone through alot and i hope things have gotten better. Are you currently working from home now? I use inboxdollars, I also get paid from different online focus groups. I recently got an invite from erewards but I haven't been paid as of yet. I run a blog about working from home to so I try and keep busy.

@Skycarter No I'm not currently working just doing odd things here and there like this site. I was looking for a while for a real at-home job but nothing seemed valid so I just decided to stop hunting for a while.
