I was searching for cardstore coupons and then suddenly the screen went blank and got this sort of pop-up, my pop-ups are enabled about my pc was infected with viruses, right away i closed the window and cleaned the temporary files and ran a full AV which revealed nothing. After that i browsed the internet and havent got the message again. Could it have been a weird website I clicked on this page without realizing? my mouse pointer moves kind of fast. Please, help as I like this website too much but now I'm afraid to keep browsing here .Thanks a lot

Strange, I've gotten that a couple of times on dealspl.us recently too. I wasn't sure if it was just me... I don't know what it is. Maybe someone else can help! :/

Shrug, I think I've seen stuff like that before as pop-ups but the ones from dealspl.us seem like they just redirect you from the page you originally want to go to. It's still a good idea not to click anything though

Thanks again Arsiel & lancelot7562 for reporting the problem

@gangstabarbie

Do you know which page you were on when you had the redirect/pop up?

Unfortunately, I have also encountered the same problem.. I ran my antivirus right away and my Spyware detector, but came up with nothing. It scared me too!

Hey guys, I remember the site being a redirection (AKA you wanted to go to a deal page but instead it took you to somewhere else, sometimes you hear something like a mouse click even though you didn't do it). I unfortunately erased my browsing history last night since my browser was running funny. Do any of you have the url of the "warning" page in your browsing history?

I know sometimes it is letting you know that you are going to a site that is unsecured. But its not always a virus. Or it could be add ware trying to get you to install something which is usually a virus. But I don't know what the page looks like that you guys are getting.

^ I'm not really sure how to describe it. It's not a warning that you get from your browser about sites with malware. It's one of those that annoying ones that say you have a virus and it has a clickable button to "scan it"

Just now happened while clicking on the Coupon Feed (Kohls coupon) link on right side of page. Redirected to http : //analysiscenterperils.pl/78dee9e271084cb2/
I added a space before & after the : so it shouldn't be clickable.
I saved a screen shot

@glwrks :Thanks for this info ! Would you be so kind to share your screen shot with the mods too. I deleted my history too because I got scared i clicked something by mistake but I agree with @arsiel, that's how it happened to me too.I thought I clicked something by mistake but the only site I was on was deals.pl. Not sure I want to keep browsing here until the mods ensure us that this site is safe again.Saving a couple of $$ isnt worth having a virus and possibly having to get another computer.

Did the site shut down a little earlier?

I got one of those warnings about a couple of days ago when I searched for a coupon, but I can't remember what coupon I was looking for at the time, possibly McDonald's. I closed the browser immediately and did the same search again and the warning didn't appear the next time. A full virus scan on my PC revealed nothing. I think it was one of those rouge fake antivirus installers. I remember that the URL it redirected to ended with .pl (Poland), so it was more than suspicious. I have full Data Execution Protection enabled on my PC, and I always surf in a non-administrator account, and always keep my software updated, so it is more difficult for exploits to succeed.

I've pasted the link provided by Acidbaby into a number of online link scanners, and it's amazing how unreliable they are with a known bad link! Some do detect the malware, but some of the better known ones, like Google Safe Browsing do not! Scary!

Gotcha. I think it's a lot of sites that end with .pl

I scanned to exe with nod32 and microsoft security and it comes up clean. Best to not chance it though.

Yes, I agree with acidbaby, best not to chance it. I havent been checking deals but just this bookmarked page. But now that I knod the mods know, hope they will take care of this. Til then I'll take a leave from this site. I dont need more scares like last Thu. My hearts stopped a little when I thought I have gotten a nasty virus. Have a great weekend everyone and happy shopping

Um, not cool at all. I got the message for the first time just now.

It came up when I clicked on the Papa Johns 50% off coupon page that was FP'd.

Please inform me via PM or reply here if you guys are still experiencing certain redirects to certain viruses to dp.

@Totooo: they said curiosity killed the cat, my antivirus just detected another virus and blocked it this time. Your website is full of virus. I'm deleting my bookmarks and never coming back here. NOT WORTH IT saving a few cents for having this coming up on the first time I'm opening the website. Goodby everyone! Happy shopping
