It's tempting to try the lower priced knock offs for electronics, but I hear from others that it's a 50/50 chance you'll get one that doesn't work.

The things I've ordered online from china (and satisfied with) have been hair jewelry, interesting little party favors for the kids, and fun accessories like a blue wig or something.

yeah..i buy a lot of stuff from China..the stuff i buy here is made from there..and the stuff i order from there takes forever to get here, but once it does...it usually will suffice. you get what you pay for..sometimes..

I've ordered from a supplier in China and have found the quality (overall, not everything) substandard and while cheaper, takes SO LONG to get here...there are some great sites out there that I love and their deals get posted often. However, I rarely order anymore unless I know I can wait about a month for the item.

I bought some items from China and some turn out to be a good deal and some not so much. Some low price items are pretty much what you pay for and really not worth the expense of shipping back if it turns out to be junk.
