He/She might want to deactivate for privacy reasons. I am pretty sure a mod has to do it for you.

I don't understand why people thumbs down. Even the person who thumb down might not know the answer. This question can now provide a lesson answer. Some people might be busy or might want to change the daily life with personnel issue. I am waiting from Mod to answer since I can also know the information on how to do this. Thanks for good question.

People who thumbs down without having a reason are doing it because it feels good to have some control & power (they usual feel that in their own lives they lack both). Generally, people lash out and hurt when they feel bad about themselves. For more about this you are welcome to attend one of my abnormal psychology lectures :) Anyway, I would ignore the folks that do that as they have enough problems of their own and they are already punished by how little they like themselves.

Hmm..maybe you could change the primary email to one you no longer use although I'm sure a mod could help you out.

If it is because of email notifications, you can change that setting if you click on the little upside down triangle next to your user name and then click "email notifications" in the box to your right.
