Q: How do we upgrade our "PLUS" scale?

I currently have 4 out of 5 "+" and I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to explain how the scale works, not only for me, but for others as well. I know we all start at 1+, but how do we "level up"?

I think it's really just about how much you put into the site. I'm talking about deals, comments, updates, etc. If you're ready at four, then I'm convinced that if you just keep doing what you're doing, you'll get that fifth plus soon enough.

Also curious. I'm at 20K+ and still at 4. I've seen users with less points than me who have 5.

IIRC your rep score comes primarily from submitting deals. You can submit garbage deals all day long and build your rep. This is basically what happened when there were lots of giveaways back in the early days and the same thing that is happening now with the Money Makers program. But I believe activity from comments and such which get your thumbs up ratings will boost your + rating. Ive been here since almost the very beginning, only submitted like 400 deals because I dont want to be one of those people who just post crap to try and win a prize but my + rating has been 5 since as long as I can remember. Im more about trying to help people and make sure nobody pays more than they should be or worse getting scammed altogether. My suggestion is comment, point out terrible deals. Point out great deals and we will all do well as will dealspl.us
