Q: How do you buy from the Amazon UK store in the United States?

I believe that they charge you in £ and your credit card will do the conversion. It has been a long time since I have ordered from the co.uk site to the US, so I cannot be certain.

PS: If you are ordering video products, make sure that you will be able to play them.

I'm not sure about amazon-uk, but my sister lives in Germany, and I've used Amazon.de on multiple occasions to send her gifts. It's cheaper than me buying something here and then shipping it to her. I don't know German, but the sites are similar, and I just run it through Google Translate if I question the details of what I'm getting. I've done this two years now without issue at Christmas and Birthday time.
I put in a U.S. credit card and it does the automatic conversion to Euros.

You can pay in pounds or dollars. There is a box on the final page which you can check to "Place Your Order in USD". I have read, though, that it is more expensive to use amazon's currency converter that your credit card company's.
