Q: I noticed....

I noticed hardly anyone clicks on the "Did this deal work for you" boxes, thumbs up or down, under the comment section for each deal.
Does this have any impact on the deal or the person who posted the deal?
Is there a reason, other than the obvious that the deal wasn't purchased or attempted to be purchased that you don't thumb up/down?

I thumb up that it worked if I click through and make a purchase.
Is it fair to thumb up that it worked even if I don't actually purchase the item?
........just wondering.

Idk what its function is but no one really uses it unless it is to give a thumbs down. I randomly decide to press a thumbs up on a deal i like especially if i know its good and someone put a thumbs down but I don't think it does anything either way...

If I actually buy something from a deal I click on it.

I forget about it half the time. If I buy and receive something and go back to leave a comment I always click the thumbs up to show it worked for me. I would be interested to see if the mods have anything to say about the intended use.

The thumbs used to do what the saved does. Thumbs down would drop the count. Why it is still there idk. I usually thumbs up if I save up. I wish the duplicate flag worked like before too. There seem to be folks who do everything to get around using duplicate links, but keep duplicating everything. I keep posting the duplicate links to help the original posters but nothing seems to be working in that deptartment either.

I thought about clicking a few of them, but I didn't know the purpose of it.

i thought the thumb up/down was to help our rep score...the more thumbs up we got, the higher our rep score got,and if someone thumbed down something our rep score would drop, which I think was dumb, b/c people would thumb down for an invalid reason, and to just be hateful, or is that just with the save button now? Would like for a MOD to clarify on that please. Thanks~

I think its because most people is just having a brief glance at the page and won't even look the thumb up buttons.
