Q: iPhone 5 Differences? Likes/Dislikes? Now that they are here!

I just got my iPhone a few hours ago and I immediately noticed differences in the op system.

1.  It now allows you different signatures for each email you have-really nice, because I have both personal and professional emails on my phone.
2.  It has a VIP section for emails from important people
3.  It is sleeker.  It is more narrow and taller than previous phones
4.  The screen is oh so nice....
5.  It has a new app on it called Passbook that allows you to scan boarding passes, tickets, store loyalty cards, and coupons although you have to connect to iTunes to download it
6.  The connecter is super small
7.  The opening for the headphone is at the bottom
8.  The headphones are different but I haven't tested them out yet

If I am missing anything...please let me know...I am excited!

I can't speak for the new Maps on iPhone 5, but the new maps on my 4s is substantial. That is, it's finally at the level pretty much all other map apps are. Definitely (and I don't just go tossing this word around willy-nilly) overrated.

I came from Apple store today. Wanted to compare new iPhone 5 and my 4S (after I upgraded it to OS6).
Well, its a bit faster (10% or so). Screen is bigger but not wider. OS is the same (OS6). Usually I am first in line to get new gadget (just because I like to have latest stuff). But this time I am skipping. I am not excited about new screen size. I was hoping that they will make it similar to Samsung Galaxy S3 size but it's not. So I'll pass this time. Will keep my 4S for awhile.

I have heard that apple is trying to get away from depending on Google for the maps and they did there own thing now and a lot of people don't like it.

I think the maps program is only really an issue for those outside of the states. I haven't had any problems (yet)

I had the iPhone 4s and the only difference I find besides the screen being 4-inch is the LTE speed. Its so much faster than the 4s' fake 4G.

Exactly! I didn't like it how they didn't make it wider. The finger/thumb thing doesn't apply to everywhere.
