In dealspl.us some users took deals/coupons posting as their profession.
Spending 16-17 hours a day and copying and pasting 250-300 deals/coupons from other deals site like slickdeals, dealnews and other sites.

Haha, I was wondering the same thing. I believe some of the folks here may be housewives/househusbands and may just bring in the extra income this way. I usually just post while I'm at my little office cubicle for some side income.

It would explain the notion of splattering the boards with hundreds of deals a day hoping that something sticks. I don't remember it being like this when I first came to dealplus some years ago. But, that was before the MM program. A lot of folks probably, like me, make a little each month and it's nice. I suspect some folks do try to make a more significant portion of their income from MM and this results in having to slog through too many "deals" to find something interesting. I don't think a new visitor would think this was anything other than normal but there was a time when most of the deals were interesting.

Here is another question: can single person post 91016 deals in 2.5 years? Do the math and see if its possible (I think it is impossible unless you share this account between more then 2 people).

@belarus94, that count doesn't include the coupons.
I recommend to put some daily limit for posting deals/coupons for users.

@belarus94 There's some leeway there, you're taking in to account the plus'd deals and not the submitted one. Funny how I knew what you were referring to.

There are certainly some people who nothing but post deals all day long. Some of the deals posted aren't really great deals and a newcomer might find the site boring. I just really hate that some people will discredit a deal that a newcomer posts and leave negative comments. Because it can be really difficult for a newbie like myself to post deals when others post so many deals. Every time I come across something that I think someone else will like, I search to see if the deal is already posted. The majority of the time, someone has already beat me to the post. Members do an awesome job posting coupon codes. No other site has more active codes for discounts which is why this is my favorite deal site.
