Thank you to those who check before posting. I wish more did (grumble).

i think there are three issues:

1. there are people who don't check first
2. there are people who don't check well
3. there are many sites that use multiple url's for the same item

Actually another issue i have had lately is that i have searched for a deal before posting in every way possible but since it was posted only couple minutes before i searched for it....it didnt show up on the search and i went ahead and posted it without getting a duplicate error to only have some post a message of my deal being a duplicate.
I try to do my due diligance before posting a deal but it doesnt work all the time!

@Florida2Texas..that's happened to me a few times. if it's a deal that i know is probably being posted around the same time, then i can check the "fresh" tab..and if i don't see it there..then i'll fill out my post..then right before hitting submit..i refresh that "fresh" tab again to see if it shows up..if not..then i hit submit..usually seems to work for me =).

Another thing I've encountered...is the deal doesn't show when searching because the title doesn't have any of the search words. I've made the mistake myself. The "See It" should match both the "Title" and the "Deal Price".
examples:
1. 40% off site wide (make sure you include which site)
2. The auto-fill on the title just doesn't match. I've seen deals titled "404 error"!?
