Q: Looking for a laptop for less than or equal to 450 (including tax) ???

I am looking for a laptop with a decent processor to give as a gift to a friend. Also i would not like to give him an acer, gateway or toshiba ( had bad experiences with all of them ). Pls help people i need to buy ASAP. Also the max we (me and my friends) have collected is around 410, so i am looking for a laptop for 450 MAX. thnx in advance

is the processor and brand the only thing you're looking for? or do you think your friend would be interested in other features (webcam, mic, gaming, good speakers, dvd-burning, etc.)..

nimrodboy3 - he is not a gaming fan at all ... so no high graphics needed ... a webcam would be preferred ... a dual layer dvd burner needed ... i guess mic is in all the laptops ? ... speakers (not worried about them) ... mostly the brand is the big issue since i want it to last long .
