Q: Losing track of Apple's STUPID 1st, 2nd generation line of products.

I am a HUGE fan of APPLE. But for them to release products by naming it 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen. is a real piece of crap. Sooner or later, you won't be able to tell which is which. For exmaple an iPad 2 looks exactly the same as the iPad 3. How would consumers be able to tell the difference? Besides knowing the MODEL #. Apple is a real piece of work I tell you.

Hahaha, I've already lost track of the original iPod models... x_x I'm not really sure which one I have anymore. 5th generation?... Shrug.
They just want you to buy the new one all the time. That makes things "easier"

I think they just came out with the 7th generation iPod Nano, but I dunno where they are on the touch or the other one. What pisses me off is that they tend to withold just enough to make you buy other stuff.

For example. I had an Nano, 6th generation. It was quirky beacuse the touch screen was the size of a postage stamp. So I traded it in and got a Ipod Touch. Has WiFi. It is their most elaborate model without having to buy 3g and have a data package. Should be able to do all that a nano does, right? *&^% no. If I want a heart rate monitor, I have to buy ANOTHER nano because the Touch wont run the Nike+ HR monitor ap. It will run the pedometer ap, but not the HR monitor.

Apple is a great product but they need to stop changing one minor thing and market it as if its the best upgrade. :(

I have one of those 2nd or 3rd or 4th generation ipods. I needed to find another one when it broke and didn't even know how to search for the right one
