Q: MM - What works?

What one thing do you do that has made the MM program very successful for you?  If we all share one idea it will help all of us.  I try to focus on a particular store, in my case, Amazon.  I have learned more and more about Amazon and have some browser add-ons that alert to me price drops, etc.  Being a specialist of sorts seems to help me.  What works well for you?

I think you should focus on a particular category (ex: Home & Garden) rather than just one store. if you stick only to amazon, you will always find the same items and you'll just end up updating your own deals and not share new ones, which I don't think will get you more money on MM.

I do not think you will get any other answer to your post, because it's money related. those who make the BIG BUCKS have their own system that works for them, and don't think they'll share it with everyone else because that would mean less money for them if they share their secret :)

@ancagavs you are right! Every single question I post o get an answer from lots of people bit barely the ones on top that obviously are that ones with more knowledge :) But we also have the ability to learn as we go! Some people think that if they started with no help why should they help other when they struggled! I hope is not the case here! I do think people are very pleasant here and helpful I tried diff deal sites and this is by far the most pleasant one!!!

I would not based just on amazon! Same way you might use camel everyone else might as well! Besides 70% of what i tey posting from amazon ar duplicates or jusy edits and you wont get full credit :) but its hard to have something frontpage here because like i statednon the question i opened people comment on deals but dont vote on them! :/ so it is really up to moderators to pick and choose a good deal out of thousands! And im sure they will look first at the high ranking :).. Just my opinion search deals on diff stores and unique stuff you might get more like that. At least I do so far! Happy hunting!

I think we all just have different things that "click" for us. Take for instance those among us who are couponing geniuses. It makes my head spin trying to figure out all of that and I know there's no way I could do it, let along enjoy myself if I tried. Others of us enjoy and have great success creating the lists and the round-ups, while I've tried a couple (with great personal angst and headache) and had zero success rate with it. Personally, I flit from site to site looking for things that are funny or of interest to me at that moment. Or from clearance to clearance, whenever the mood strikes me. My personal philosophy is that if it works for YOU, do it. Choose your interest and your style and go with that. Fit DP to yourself, not yourself to DP. Don't try to fit into someone else's mold... the variety of styles on DP is what makes our community so great and it's what makes all of us equally successful! :) Good Luck to all!!

I have just tried posting different deals I find as I shop or ideas I get as I browse other deals sites. Some that I think are awesome hardly get any clicks and some, like coupons for %'s off online, do really well when I personally wouldn't use them.
