Plan Ahead

Plan your meals a week in advance while taking into considerations what deals you can get with the coupons you have. You should also be prepared to make minor alterations once you are able to see what store sales are going on the day you plan to do your shopping. Pairing these two strategies you can get more bang for your buck, and have delicious treats to look forward to through out the week. Most grocery stores will allow you to pair your member club savings, with the the stores deals of the day, while also allowing you to use the coupons you have brought in with you, sometimes allowing you to save as much as 85% Good Luck Saving!

I like the idea of planning my meals in advance - that way when I have a "Ho-Hum what do I cook today" Day - I have a list to choose from. Plus - if you plan around what is on sale and make one big trip (I like to do 2 weeks at a time) and hit all the specials at the stores and use coupons - you can have more free time on your hands instead of running to the store all the time. :)
