yes the system wont recognize it as a duplicate maybe because one was posted as a deal and the other as a coupon i see that a lot

It's just confusing then Mods go in and edit the original deal, I looked and I didn't see this posted. I am going to have to figure out a catchier way to post. Don't know how to make them bold in the posting. I just keep trying I guess one day I may get the hang of it.

Seems that the coupon was there and the person perhaps used the coupon to post the deal.
i have a question: is it okay to use post different items from the same sale?

Well either way, I fee like the deal supervenes the coupon code. It'd make more sense to post a coupon code in the coupons section to me.

As for bolding, use "< b >" and "< / b >" around what you want bolded. No spaces, no quotation marks.

I personally feel that codes belong with codes Vice Versa. Codes alone should NEVER be a deal unless DP doesn't have a store page for them. When you submit you're asked, "Deal" or "Code" & DP would like them separated this way otherwise the "Deal" portion of the site is FLOODING with every little code. Codes should be submitted in a deal when bringing value to it. I've been peeved about this for a long time especially since I was told this is in the rules but not enforced & it irks me when I post a great code only to see it posted as a deal a few hours later. Some of the Old Timers have told me they were so tired of this happening that now when they think they've found a good code they submit both ways because if they don't, someone else will. I don't have the time for that nor do I want to see DP flooding with crap. Some submit 100's of deals here DAILY & I wish there was a CRAP meter to weed them out!
