Q: Posting a coupon when not allowed

Hi,

I recently stumbled upon a coupon for a sport retailer and was going to share it but found that the coupon page said that it was restricted (upon that retailer's request of course), but I'd found multiple past posts of the coupon being added as a 'deal' and price labeled coupon. How are people allowed to post a coupon like this? If someone did that, would they be penalized?

Thanks!

It's a good question. I've experienced this before. I'm not sure why anyone is thumbing you down:/

I thumbed you up though;)

@LokaFreeThings2 Thanks, I appreciate the response. Just worried you'll get thumbed down because of me though. And this response I'm currently typing will probably get the same 3 thumbs down that the others had :-P

I have always posted the coupon and it didn't arise, but if you post a deal which includes the coupon, the coupon will be automatically added.Just my experience.

ive asked a mod the same question but never heard back. It was for CVS and I got the message of not allowed but saw someone else later added it.I got no response to if this was allowed so I went ahead a few days later and posted one of my own.
I try to follow all the protocols and when unsure I ask a mod,in this instance I received no reply and the other persons post was never deleted so I went ahead and posted.
Hopefully this question will be answered if a mod sees these posts.
