Q: Random question: Subbed or Dubbed? Which do you prefer for movies?

I always wonder why they dub movies, it never sounds right!

Maybe it has to do with how your brain is wired--maybe some people follow dubbing better? So which do you like better?

I only have one answer: I HATE DUBBED MOVIES!

Absolutely subbed. I think the accent and vocal delivery is half of the acting a lot of the time, and even if you don't understand the words, at least you get the actors emotion/etc.

Honestly, after the first 5 minutes, you kind of forget you're reading the subtitles, you just get lost in the movie (if it's a good one anyway).

Subbed. Dubbed just seems ridiculous sometimes. It could make a drama seem like a comedy haha

subs, anything dubbed sounds so fake with the translation, sometimes doesn't even make sense.

I prefer subbed. It is true to make you feel vivid.

subbed is nice..but for some people..it's just easier to watch the movie when it's dubbed..less effort..but yeah..i feel like maybe you lose part of the film that way.

Both? If the dubbed part is not good I'll use subtitles.

Usually subbed, but there have been instances in which the dub is decent or hilariously bad enough that it deserves a watch.

Subbed! Unless it's Anime like Dragon Ball or something, where the Japanese dubs are whackier than the English dubs haha.
