Q: Really annoyed with some of the 'deals' posted!

Some of these deals have no SALE price, or isn't a CLEARANCE item, or anything special at all...
It is just a everyday value, which the item should NOT be posted to this site.

HOW MANY TIMES MUST WE REMIND EVERYONE WHAT THIS SITE IS FOR?

SALE ITEMS! CLEARANCE! COUPON CODES! BIG EVENT SALES!

Not just random items which has no sale or price drop listed at all...

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh good luck. Ive been saying this since 2008. Nothing is going to change until users have the ability to click on an item OUTSIDE of the heating up page to either delete them entirely or push them to the bottom. Someone before stated to use the heating p page, thats practical to an extent but not all deals are listed in the heating up page, nor do I want to scroll through dozens of pages to find it. If I am searching for a specific items and see a bunch of non deals I should be able to either remove them from my own feed or self moderate that post and help push it out of view for everyone.

I've been flagging them, no value. Maybe if the mods start seeing a lot of that, there will be some cracking down.

I've been just leaving some comments about it not being a sale in the post, maybe I should start to flag it too.

I've noticed this too. I don't get how it is a deal when the item is not on sale and/or the price hasn't dropped..

What may work best is having a lot of people leaving a polite comment that this is not a deal. If the mods seem the same people posting volumes of such deals, with such comments, they might nudge the poster to ease up on posting non-deals.

I just started posting deals and coupons to ths site. I can understand what everyone is talking about. Just keep in mind that when you have newbies there will be errors. It's all in how you say it.

I have posted stuff I really like/want even if not a huge discount, because i use my submitted page as my personal shopping/wish/watch list. [would be better If they gave me separate tabs for each list.]

We used to have a wish list here for those exact reasons.

I was wondering what happened to that! I did notice it was gone.

When I posted more deals and less coupons I used to post things at prices that were good to me, but not exactly a killer deal. If someone finds that it is not a good deal, feel free to comment. I don't understand what the point of getting upset over a comment is so let me know for sure if it's ever me :)
