Q: Should there be a tab for PETS on dealspl.us?

I see tabs for electronics, home & garden etc... I wonder why there aren't any for pets? I am sure I am not the only dog lover always searching for a good pet deal on here.

I am guessing they are trying to be as general as possible on the tabs. Then we can drill down from there. If you hover your mouse over home and garden, you will find a category for pets which is more specific.

I think many categories and sub-categories need some work ,I think there should be a clear separate tab for food , and things like shoes should have a separate men's and women's tab

Pets are like humans too. They do not get enough love. Especially in 3rd world countries, strays are running around and getting hit by cars or missing eye balls.

Like MrBklynW said, click on "Home & Garden", then "Pets". Food is "Other", then "Gift Flowers and Food"

I understand what you mean by another tab for Food, but usually the really good Food deals can be placed in the Freebie section or coupons if it is a BOGO deal

I like the idea for a pets tab, too. I don't own a pet myself, but understand the frustration of looking for something and not knowing where it's labeled. Perhaps they should have the same tabs as, say, a discount store site. Walmart, Kmart and Target split their tabs into easy-to-find sections. Just a suggestion, since the site is getting so big!

The pet section is actually kinda hard to find on Target.com. Walmart puts Pets with Grocery which makes sense I guess. I guess you usually pick up stuff for your pet while grocery shopping (or maybe before or after if you go to a specialty store)
