The concept of Valentines day is so beyond me to begin with!! Why would you want to dedicate 1 single day for all the love and craziness going around?!?! Share it all year long! If you really love and care about someone, you don't need to show it for a day..do it every so often!

My friends thinks I might be the only female in her twenties to think that way! Am I ?

@Florida2Texas I am with you :)... I also don't understand why some people gets all weepy on valentines day when they are single... I just don't get it maybe I am just not that type of girl :)

I hope the weepy people don't get even more depressed now that it is apparently Valentines Day Weekend according to the love expert, accuweather :)

Anyhow, I think some people have an immature view of love and have the same middle school and high school expectations instead of paying attention to the sacrifices the significant other makes and appreciating the "little things" he or she does every day.

@rtanner - Are you trying to tell me that being in your mid 20's is not young? lol..
I just think its how you look at things! I was never a fan of Valentines day when I was in my teens and I am not now either! Don't get me wrong..I love the whole concept of dress ups and gifts and fancy dinners. I just don't like the concept of that being on 1 SPECIFIC DAY! :)

If anyone's been married to a guy for almost 10 years and has kids, you realize how lucky you are to have a moment alone. It's an overrated holiday that gets celebrated more with my kids than with my husband. They're better at valentines anyway ;-)
