Q: So what are your thougths on the updated Money Maker Guidelines?

Just received the the guidelines to help with future postings. I read many that were requested by MMs and glad to see that they were included. Definitely think it will add more consistency to the deals that are posted. What are your thoughts?

i think it'll help, but it might take a while for the transition period. seems like there are a bit more limitations..for instance..for computer deals..there's now a specific template for the title..which is good..and it helps when searching for deals..but then people need search for the info and manually enter it in the title..

don't get me wrong, though..that doesn't take much effort. i still remember when all deals were manually entered. good times.

i agree, it will definitely take some time. we're so used to doing it 'free form' and until someone points it out, it'll take getting used to.

I thought something was up, and really think the email explained posting very well. In re: no 30% off coupons for Kohls, I hope DP means the coupon section & not added to a deal post along with non-cardholder options.

I was also curious about the no 30% off at Kohl's bit. Any further explanation on that?

I like it a lot and it will hopefully cut down on the huge amount of cut n paste deals that often have titles that make no sense. Some structure is a good thing.
