Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has any good southern Cajun recipes they would like to share? I find them but sometimes its a hit or miss. Thanks

I just use Zatterans (sp?). There is another that I use, but without seeing one of the boxes I can't be sure of the name. It may be Tony Cacheres.

I love Cajun food. I can't weait for the crawfish festivals in Louisianna. :-)

You can't go wrong with Paul Prudhomme's Recipes! My hubby makes his gumbo and a few other of his recipes and OMG - they are SO GOOD! Just found a Great price on Amazon on one of his cookbooks (good place to start... we have tons of them)... here is a link to the book

This is one of my favorite dishes to make. I make it atleast once a week.It is absolutely delish. If you like it spicy, add cayenne pepper powder.

I have lived since extreme South Louisiana since the day I was born. A no fail seasoning I even put in scrambled eggs is Tony Cachero's. Also Blue Runner (http://www.nolacajun.com/Blue-Runner-Creole-) sells cans of bisque,jambayla and red beans base. Google the recipe for popeyes biscuts and you will have a true cajun meal.
