Is it just me or is the "community" starting to fill up with spam?
And what cane we do about it?

I think all we can do is thumbs-down it, and how the mods remove them. Maybe DealsPlus can hire a spam person; they'd weed out all the spam comments in the community and deals.

Those people are wasting their time spamming. Almost no one visits the community section anymore.

Yes, definitely need to thumbs down them, if they get enough in a certain period of time (I think its 4 or 5) they will automajically get removed. Power to the people!

Thumbing them down really helps. We don't always have time to go through every comment that appears on the site and sometimes the ones on the deals overwhelm us that we don't get here as quickly.

If enough complaints come up on people, they can be banned. And some users have been banned. :) We don't let them keep running rampant for forever.

As for spam, not really my taste. I could go for salad with blue cheese, and a walnut cranberry vinaigrette right now.
